Highrock Haverhill Polar Express

Nov 29, 2020
9:30 am to 10:30 am
4 Summer Street, Haverhill, MA 01830
United States

On November 29, instead of online church, we're providing a safe and physically distant way to gather together in worship! It's the Highrock version of the Polar Express. We hope you take advantage of this opportunituy to see each other in person and prepare our hearts for Christmas.

Get out of the house and swing by the Haverhill City Hall Parking Lot to pick up all the materials you'll need to have church at home - including an order of service, communion elements, prayers, an activity, a special Christmas calendar to use during Advent, and of course...an individually packaged version of SoulFood!

BONUS: Opportunity to Serve

Did you know that there are 62 teens living in foster care in the Haverhill area? Each one of these teens is important. Each is an image bearer of God! Many of them, however, don't feel so important. This can be magnified during the Christmas season when younger kids in foster care get loaded with gifts and recognition…while teens are often overlooked.

For the second consecutive year, around 10 churches in the Merrimack Valley are linking arms to change that narrative by providing gifts for each teen...AND tickets to send each foster family in Haverhill to the North Shore Holiday Light Show at a local farm, Crescent Hills.

Last year Highrock Haverhill raised $600 for this worthy cause! This year, we have already pledged $600, and you can contribute indivdiually by donating directly to Fostering Hope or sending a check to Fostering Hope 383 West Fountain Street #121, Providence, RI 02903. In the notes or memo line write "FHMV Christmas" and indicate you're from Highrock Haverhill.
